What is more beneficial way to end the school semester if not with a fun and educational program? Themed “English is Fun & Awesome!”, SK Gentisan, Teluk Sepanggar held an English Week program for its pupil  to learn and use English outside the classroom through fun and engaging communicative activities. The aim is to boost their confidence in using the English language not only for the purpose of examination but also to prepare them for the real world.

Some of the activities conducted were Short Reading Competition, Spelling Bee, English Song Karaoke, Compound Word and ‘Oh My Dictionary!’. The program received an overwhelming response from the students and was made possible through the efforts of the English Department lead by their Head, Ms Nelly Midir and supported by the Headmistress, Pn Hjh Tamina Rasneh.
