Suria Bumiria Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad donated RM12,000 to National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) recently as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program this year. According to newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Azman Amarashikin, SuriaGroup is embarking on a ‘Adopt a Charity Home’ initiative this year for its subsidiaries to engage with charity bodies and support their mission as well to encourage staff to be involved as volunteers in their activities.

The cheque was presented by Mr. Azman Amarashikin to Ms. Thien Ming Fui on behalf of NASAM Chairman, Ms Jasminah Ali and witnessed by SuriaGroup and NASAM staff during their visit to the Centre at Jalan Tuaran. Ms. Jasminah hopes that there will be more corporate organizations to come forward to support NASAM or other charity associations, which needs attention, help and financial support to continue with their existence in doing goodwill to needy community in Sabah.

NASAM looks forward to reach out to SuriaGroup staff through special talks in sharing information on stroke-related issues.
