Suria Capital Holdings Berhad on 12 February 2020 has donated units of used but still in top condition computer to SMK Pekan Telipok for its Special Education Program as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. The computers will be used as part of the learning tools for the school’s special students.
The Special Education Program covers children with disabilities such as autism, hyperactive, down syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and intellectual disability. Currently the program takes care of19 special students.
SBCP was recognized for the numerous green initiatives taken such as the installation of electrical Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes, usage of LED lighting and implementation of the
Autostore Terminal Operating System which minimizes paper consumption. The APSN council further noted SBCP’s active engagement in ecological conservation through projects such as seagrass transplanting, mangrove restoration and rehabilitation projects across the port locality.
